What you may reuse, what belongs to others, and how to raise a problem.

Original writing and design
The essays, commentary, explanations, interview material, illustrations and site design are © Paddy Iyer, all rights reserved, unless a page says otherwise. You are welcome to:
- quote short passages with a link back to the page;
- share links freely;
- use the material for your own study and interview preparation.
For anything beyond that, such as republishing an essay, translating it, or using it in a course, please ask first.
Traditional texts
The original Sanskrit, Tamil, Awadhi and Telugu texts presented in the study apps are traditional works, many of them centuries old. Where a page took its text from a particular website or edition, the page's Sources & Verification panel names it, and that source's own terms apply to its presentation. The translations, word-by-word meanings and commentary written for PaddySpeaks are covered by the section above.
Code
The site's source code is publicly visible in its GitHub repository. Being visible is not the same as being open-source licensed. Until a licence file is added, ordinary copyright applies. Please ask before reusing substantial parts.
Third-party material
Quoted passages, logos, product names and screenshots belong to their owners and are used for commentary, criticism, teaching and identification. Job listings on JobSignal are summaries of postings published by the employers themselves, with a link to the original.
Takedown and complaints
If you believe something here infringes your rights, misrepresents you, or exposes personal information that should not be public:
- Use the contact page and choose Website issue.
- Include the page address, what the material is, and why it should be removed or changed. For copyright, say what work you own and how to reach you.
- You will get a reply. Material that is plainly infringing or harmful is taken down first and discussed afterwards.
Factual and translation errors are not takedown matters. Please report them as corrections, which are logged publicly on the corrections page.
