Terms of Use
PaddySpeaks is a personal, non-commercial knowledge site. These terms say what you can expect from it, and what it asks of you.

1. Using the site
You may read, study and use everything here for personal and educational purposes. There are no accounts and nothing to sign up for. Please do not:
- scrape the site at a rate that degrades it for others, or use its APIs (
ps.paddyspeaks.com) from anywhere other than the site's own pages; - try to get around the rate limits, the leaderboard's integrity checks, or the admin sign-in;
- use the Privacy Console to look up anyone other than yourself, or someone who has asked you to help them;
- submit anything unlawful, confidential to an employer, or identifying of a private individual.
2. What the content is
The essays, study apps, interview material and demos are educational material and personal commentary. What each kind of material is, and what it is not, is set out in the disclaimer. In short: nothing here is professional, financial, medical, legal or religious-authority advice.
3. Accuracy and corrections
Care is taken, and errors still happen. Sources are recorded where they are known and marked as not recorded where they are not. Meaningful corrections are listed publicly on the corrections page. The site is provided as is, without a guarantee that it is complete, current or error-free.
4. What you send us ⚖
- Testimonials: you confirm the testimonial is your own honest experience. You allow it to be displayed on PaddySpeaks under the display preference you chose, and lightly edited for length or clarity without changing its meaning. You can ask for it to be removed at any time.
- Interview questions: you confirm you are free to share the question. You allow it to be adapted (by an AI model and/or by hand) into a practice question published on the site. Do not share material you received under a confidentiality agreement.
- Leaderboard scores are anonymous and deletable with your deletion token.
5. Other sites and services
JobSignal links to employers' own careers pages. A listing is not an endorsement, and PaddySpeaks is not part of any hiring process. Other links lead to sites PaddySpeaks does not control. Features that use an outside service (Google Forms, Anthropic, Brave or Google Search, Resend) are subject to that service's terms as well. The privacy policy says which feature uses which.
6. Liability ⚖
PaddySpeaks is offered free of charge and as is. To the extent the law allows, Paddy Iyer is not liable for losses that come from relying on the content, from an employer's listing, or from the site being unavailable. Some jurisdictions do not allow these limits, and they then apply only as far as permitted.
7. Changes
These terms may change. The date at the top of this page shows the last change, and meaningful changes are also noted in the changelog. For questions, use the contact page.
